The netLibrary ebook Collection The netlibrary ebook collection is read online via your web browser. They are not downloaded to your computer or mailed to you. You will find general interest, reference and how-to titles in our ebook collection. Most find it useful to perform Keyword searches in the book to find specific passages of interest rather than sit down and try to read an entire book on the computer. MoLib2Go Looking for electronic books or audio books to download, check out our membership in the Missouri Libraries 2 Go consortium. Simply point your browser to www.MoLib2Go.org or click on this link. You will need a current library card number to borrow from this site. Just follow the enrollment instructions and download the required software, then enjoy the selections. Do not overlook the Public Domain eBooks section it contains thousands of classic books that are no longer under copy write. Once you down load one of these titles it is yours forever, no due dates no nothing. This membership in MoLib2Go is a free service from the Stone County Library.
If you prefer music to books then check out our new offering from Library Ideas. It is called freegal and it features music downloads. Once again you will need a valid Stone County Library card to use this service. Simply click on the freegal button at browse the artists included in this offering. Downloads are simple and will transfer to your MP3 player or listen from your computer. The downloads for this service are limited to a set number per week so you can not download the whole collection in one setting. Like our audio book and eBook downloads there is no fee to use this service. |
