FactMonster is a general facts and resource page for school subjects.  It includes a dictionary, thesaurus, almanac and an online encyclopedia.

Internet Public Library lists school subject resources as curated by Librarians and Library Science students.  Also features an “Ask-A-Librarian” feature.

Discovery Education offers free student resources that bring learning to life


Time Homework Help allows users to view punctuation rules, take quizzes, and practice parts of speech with online flashcards. 

Cool Math has lessons, practice problems and games for pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, pre-calculus and calculus.

Figure This! Math challenges for families has Math activities and resources to help parents and children work together to complete math homework.   Website provided by the National Council of the Teachers of Mathematics.

Math Playground has math games, activities, worksheets, and flashcards.


Environmental Science for Kids has environmental science lessons, experiments, activities and games from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences.
